The curriculum of this program is designed in reference to the Global Association Master’s in Development Practice.

It comprises 10 required credits, including “Academic Research Ethics” and “Thesis,” both accounting for 0 credits, and a minimum of 14 elective credits. Students may select elective courses from within this program or from other master’s and doctoral programs at the university to fulfill their elective credit requirements.

For the graduation thesis, students may choose between two paths: a traditional “Academic Research Thesis” or a “Professional Practice Report.” Students opting for the thesis must discuss their course selection with their advisor and enroll in research methodology courses, or complete relevant online non-credit courses approved by their advisor (these courses do not count towards graduation credits). Those choosing the professional practice report must participate in a practical project approved by their advisor, making a significant contribution to problem-solving.

Students are required to select an advisor and determine their academic path by the 2nd week of the 2nd semester of their 1st year in the master’s program. The advisor must be a full-time or jointly appointed faculty member of this program.
