Master Program in Sustainability and Disaster Management
Program Overview
In 2023, Tzu Chi University combined its research capabilities with the Tzu Chi Foundation’s extensive experience in global disaster relief and sustainable development, establishing the Master’s Program in Sustainability and Disaster Management.
This program integrates two disciplines: “Sustainable Development” and “Disaster Health Management,” with a focus on building resilience. The curriculum covers topics such as net-zero carbon emissions, sustainable design, green building, social solidarity economy, resilient communities, technology and media applications, disaster geography, disaster education, post-disaster social work, disaster psychology, disaster public health, and disaster medical and nursing care.
