This program’s goal is to nurture outstanding talent in sustainability and disaster management who embody the spirit of compassion, joy, and equanimity, and who are committed to serving the world according to principles of “respecting life and prioritizing humanity.”
These individuals are dedicated to volunteering and helping others with a mindset that embraces altruism and humanitarianism.

OUR WORK PROCESS
Four Phases of Disaster Management

1.
Immediate Response
‣ Mobilize disaster relief resources and personnel
‣ Assist with necessary evacuation and sheltering
‣ Provide emergency medical care and trauma counseling
‣ Conduct home visits and distribute relief supplies
2.
Early Recovery
‣ Train disaster-area volunteers
‣ Carry out reconstruction projects
‣ Provide post-trauma treatment and care
Plan and coordinate disaster-area recovery
3.
Long-Term Recovery
‣ Provide long-term and continuous community care
‣ Support learning and vocational training
‣ Organize and train local volunteer teams
‣ Promote forest and ecological restoration for well-being
4.
Mitigation
‣ Establish and mobilize community volunteer teams
‣ Promote community disaster-prevention education and information sharing
‣ Conduct anthropological studies on disaster and resilience
‣ Inspect and maintain disaster prevention equipment and supplies
